  1. lol with the random toys in your own bedroom, I am forever finding random pieces of russian dolls or transformers laying around our room. I smile (so long as I haven’t trodden on said toy) and then collapse into bed.

  2. I actually managed to paint my finger nails this weekend and the occurance was so rare that my 3 year even commented “whats that on your fingers Mummy!” – usually theres no point as it won’t have time to dry before I’m having to wipe a bum or pick something up!! #maternitymondays

  3. I love this and so true – my handbag (and car)is disgusting! I also feel a sense of achievement by having a shower – in fact I often find myself asking permission from my husband to get one…’am I ok to pop in the shower? I am not sure what I would do if he said no!#maternitymondays

I always ask permission too and it drives me mad. My husband just goes and has one! I will try just going next time and see what happens ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. It’s crazy how many toys pieces you end up finding all over the house, and the particular ones that make their way to the bedroom are just funny. And oh, the relief of the bedtime ‘I made it through the day’. Though of course you’re so tired it often takes a while for things to really register. I can relate. ๐Ÿ™‚ #MaternityMondays

  5. YES to all of this! The amount of times I’ve sat down after putting our toddler to bed, I’ve then sat on the sofa with a variety of different children’s TV programmes playing for at least an hour because I’m far too tired to turn it over! Ridiculous ๐Ÿ˜€ #MaternityMondays
