Stewing steak-either whole or cut into chunks, your choice
1 beef stock cube
1 tin of cream of tomato soup
Dumpling mix (oops/life's too short)
Preheat oven to 150 degrees.
Chop onion and carrot.
Place steak in a casserole dish with carrot and onion.
Crumble stock cube over the top.
Pour soup into dish and stir.
Add hot water to desired consistency.
Bake in the oven for 2 hours 40 minutes.
Place dry dumpling mixture in a bowl and add herbs (in order to pass off as your own, homemade dumplings).
Make up according to packet and put in casserole.
Continue to cook for 20 minutes without the lid.
Serve with mashed potato.
