Recently, Boo has been one of the first children in the UK to try Num Noms which are are scented food related collectibles which appear in the form of mini lip glosses and motorised characters.
Num Noms are already out and very popular in the USA and they launch in the UK this week.
It seems all of Boo’s friends love these little, cute, collectibles and the closest thing I can compare them to is Shopkins.
We can’t have them at our house though as they are so small and a real choking hazard for Baby G.
Num Noms, while still small, are much larger and the risk of choking is much less so I feel pleased Boo finally has something she can collect.
The pack we received contained a cone and a spoon which Boo absolutely loved. There was also a motorosed Nom (there is a lip gloss option), and three Nums-like an ice cream topper for the Nom.
Boo has a fascination for ice cream so this was a great choice. Equally though, I think she would really enjoy the lipgloss version too.
As well as ice cream Num Noms, there are also cupcakes, lipglosses and the motorised Noms. They come in a variety of flavours and, as they are scented, their flavour matches their smell.
Boo liked role playing with them-pretending to eat ice cream from the cone with the spoon. She also liked stacking the Nums and she calls the Nom a ‘Bee’ and it can quite often be found buzzing around the kitchen table as we eat.
I really like them. They are multifaceted toys. They can be used for a variety of different types of play and, with a pack like ours retailing at £8.99 they really won’t break the bank. They are available to buy from Amazon, Smyths Toys and Toys R Us.
To cerebrate the launch, I have an exciting competition to give away a deluxe set of Num Noms and two mystery pots.
I only wish we could enter ourselves.
