Find Your Own Dory this Summer at SEA LIFE

With the school holidays stretching out before us, many parents are already looking for ideas to keep their children entertained.

The new Disney Pixar film, Finding Dory is released in cinemas on July 29th and, a movie on a rainy day is surely a winner.

What if you could find your own Dory (or Nemo) though? Well, this summer, thanks to SEA LIFE, you can.

We were invited along to the Manchester SEA LIFE last weekend to find him ourselves and we couldn’t have been more entertained. We love SEA LIFE but, last time we went I think G was a little bit young. He did like it but this time he loved it which can be clearly seen by the look of joy on his face all the way around the attraction.

Children (and adults) will learn about blue tangs and clownfish during their visit and helpful boards are dotted around the attraction telling you about the different species, their habitats and their lives in the wild.

There are hands on things like the turtle area which both of my children loved and you can learn about their eggs and their life cycle.

Visitors can take part in a Finding Dory Trail which adds an extra dimension to visits this summer.

By far, our favourite part of any SEA LIFE is the Ocean Tunnel where sharks and other sea life swims all around you and over your head.

Likewise though, we all loved the Shoaling Ring with its atmospheric music and seats dotted around so it can almost feel like you are in the sea with the creatures.

We also love seeing the sea horses and the jelly fish at Jelly Fish Seas.

All in all, SEA LIFE is one of our favourite days out. Not only is it on our doorstep but it is not weather dependent and there really is something about the ocean that instantly soothes me. What is not to love about that?

The Finding Dory exhibition is on at all UK & Eire SEA LIFE Centres and Sanctuaries (excluding Oban) from 16th July – 11th September 2016.
