Think back to your pre-child days. Poo was a taboo topic. Not something you would discuss with your partner, let alone total strangers.
Now think about now…when you have a baby, you go through the fifty shades of poo stage-black, yellow-sometimes green. As a new parent, you find it so amazing that you end up talking about it to anyone who will listen.
I remember when my daughter went on solids and I rang my husband up at work to tell him (excitedly) that there were carrots in her poo!!
He didn’t share my enthusiasm unfortunately, I couldn’t understand why.
Even now, she is two and-a-half and I still find myself monitoring and comparing it. Is it too runny? Too hard?
I just have to resign myself to the fact that this my life now haha.
Isn’t it funny though that your child’s nappy doesn’t ever smell as bad as someone else’s child?!
Happy poo-viewing everyone.
