Looking towards AW2015 Kids with House of Fraser

The last time I worked with House of Fraser, I was heavily pregnant and, not knowing what sex I was having, I ended up just getting Boo stuff.

Ironically, in the wilds of January, I opted for a Yumi summer dress. I was so impressed with Yumi that I went for them again but this time, in June I got a winter coat. I know.

The thing is I am on maternity leave and I was worrying about the cost of a winter coat on top of school uniform for the dreaded start in September.

I needn’t have worried about price though because, once again, House ofFraser came up trumps with a lovely, warm and amazing quality coat for £25 and I honestly, cannot resist tartan or a duffle coat so this little beauty was perfect for Boo. I got aged 7-8 as she is a big girl and it fitted perfectly.

Ever the comedian, she didn’t want to pose, instead thinking it hilarious that I was making her pose (she is used to it as a blogger’s daughter) but this particular day, she was having none of it. I think they are quite funny though.

There is some lovely detailing on the coat including bows on each pocket,

at the back,

a lovely, furry hood and

buckles around the sleeves.

I am so pleased with it I am *almost* wishing the summer away.

As I said, we didn’t know the baby was going to be a boy so I had a good look at the different styles available for boys this time.

In general, I really thing the High Street is a bit of a let down I terms of boys clothes but House of Fraser is different. There were hundreds of garments I could have chosen.

In the end, I went for a lovely fox printed t-shirt.

I got it in 9-12 months so that it would be the right size when the days are cooler (get me, being so organised) so I didn’t try it on him, I just draped it one night while he was having a snooze in one of his sister’s hand-me-down vests. Really the top was am answer to our prayers because, at the moment, many of his clothes are his sister’s pink hand-me-downs. Oops.

I am so pleased with what we got and House of Fraser’s children’s wear really does hit the spot for us.
