I am sure you know I take loads of photos of my children. I love nothing ,ore than flicking through my phone and looking at them all.
I was therefore really happy when the people at Cheerz got in touch, offering me some credit for a review.
That was until I had to choose some photos.
It was so hard.
Not just due to the amount of photos I take but also the fact that usually, there isn’t one photo where all three children are looking at the camera.
Add to this the sheer amount of choice on the Cheerz website and it was one hard decision.
I loved the heat shaped fridge magnets-the perfect gift for anyone but especially for someone who lives far away from you as they arrive through the post in a really cute heart shaped package.
I also liked the photo boxes where you can artfully store your Cheerz prints so they are easy to access and peruse.
The Photo Scrapbooks are also a lovely idea. They come with 20, thick, black, cardboard pages, a pen and sticky dots and either 30 or 80 of your favourite photo prints in a choice of styles-retro, square or classic style.
All you have to do then is stick the photos in and get creative with your pen.
In our increasing digital age, it s a lovely thing and one which will last the test of time.
After all, how many times have you deleted a photo off your phone and regretted it?
In the end, I went for two wall canvases and a photobook.
The two photos I choose for the canvases had all three children on and they were *almost* all looking. I love the scenery behind the one in the woodland. The other photo was from Easter 2018 when the farmer set up a load of straw bales so I could try and get an Easter themed shot.
It obviously didn’t work out as the eldest and youngest didn’t like the baby goat being so close and the middle one was too bust squeezing the chick to look at the camera.
Luckily, when I went back to the hose for a moment, the farmer got this shot and I was so relieved.
As you choose your canvas, the Cheerz website shows you how it will look on a wall in a room which I thought was very clever. When they came, I had already earmarked the perfect spot for them in our living room.
The photo book is a bit embarrassing really. For our first child, we have a firs month, first Christmas and first year book. Our second child has a photobook album on an old laptop we had so I thought I would try and make amends and get our third child a photo book with the intention of ordering son one’s book at a later date.
It was a lovely activity to do, looking back at the first year of my last baby. At least with him being 16 months as I write this post, it is still relatively fresh in my mind.
I feel relief really that it is done and I am definitely going to get G’s done asap. I remember looking through photo albums when I was a little girl and I used to love seeing photos of myself as a baby.
I loved the fact that they would autofill the photos and they are clever enough to fill them in date order which is really handy when you’re doing a first year book.
The overall experience with Cheerz was really positive. It is a really clear website and the actual act of uploading photos is probably the easiest I have come across. There are options to upload pictures from various soap media platforms too so there is no excuse of not having your photos all on one device.
My order was shipped really quickly. I played my order on a Wednesday morning and they arrived via courier on Saturday.
I will definitely be using Cheerz again.
