Mermaid Charm Shells-A Review

Poor Boo doesn’t have many things that her two little brothers don’t try to steal so when Interplay got in touch to tell us about their Mermaid Charm Shells, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for my eldest child to have something of her own.

Mermaid Charm Shells are the home of a lovely mermaid and each set comes with a key to open the shell, a sea creature charm, beads and elasticated string so children can make their own charm bracelet.

The shells are large enough for other small things to be stowed away but small enough to fit in a pocket.

Part of the wider Mermaid Lagoon series, there are three to collect-Calypso, Serena and Storm. We were sent Storm who has a lilac tail and white hair with a green bikini top. Our beads were purple and yellow, our stretch cord pink and our sea creature was a seal.

We loved the fact that the oyster shell could be locked with the little key provided and I was pleased to see that the shell does still open without the key, should it get lost.

Boo is seven and it is the perfect gift for children of this age. The combination of something to collect, small things, it being a mermaid and the secret element of the lock means the collection of mermaids is sure to be a huge hit.

I know I am going to have to buy the other two in the series to compete our set.

The Mermaid Charm Shells only cost £9.99 and can be bought from all good toyshops. Follow the on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram or visit the website at https://interplayuk.com/collections/my-mermaid-lagoon/products/charm-shell-serena for more information.

We were sent the Mermaid Charm Shell for the purpose of this review but all opinions are my own.

  2. Whoa! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a entirely different
topic but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Wonderful choice of
    colors!
