We were recently invited to make a personalised book with Penwizard.
Now, I have had experience with Penwizard before. Long before Boo, I bought a personalised Christmas book for an old neighbour’s little girl but, for one reason or another, I hadn’t got round to getting Boo one.
The designing the book on their easy-to-follow website is, just as exciting as reading the book, in my opinion.
You can pick eye and hair colour, hair style, glasses. There are beards and moustaches for dads as well as designer stubble.
So I was asked to make a Peppa Pig My Daddy book.
Peppa is always a winner in our house and, seeing as Daddy is Boo’s hero, the two together had the makings of a best seller for our three-year old.
The funniest bit was that I had complete control over how Hubster was to appear. *Giggles mischievously.
I had a right laugh to myself trying out all of the different looks.
I decided however for Boo’s sake to depict Daddy how he actually looks.
I think you’ll agree, I was quite kind.
The result? Boo loves her personalised book. Her name is printed throughout the book and she knows the little girl in the book is her with Daddy, Peppa and Daddy Pig. What a lovely thing for a child.
I am so glad I have been reminded of Penwizard. They make such a lovely gift as well as great presents for your own child. Not only do they promote books and reading which I am all in favour of but they also capture the imagination.

*Please note, I was sent this Penwizard book as a gift in return for a blog post. All opinions are my own-inckuding my poetic license with Hubster.
