Recycling With Pampers-My Own Unique Way
Dear Pampers,
I know it is not a new story that you have switched to plastic bags for your nappies rather than cardboard boxes but the impact of the change has only just become apparent to me.
I know you did it for environmental purposes and really your should be applauded, you really should.
However I for one am lamenting the loss of the box.
You see, since I had my first child, nearly five years ago, I have been storing baby clothes in your boxes. Carefully labelled-newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9montgs. You get the picture.
Then, when I had Baby G, I did the same. This time however, the boxes were labelled 0-3 months (boy) 3-6 months (boy). You get the picture.
Now, after my recent post-10 reasons you know you’re not done having babies, you know my predicament. Baby G is now in 9-12 month clothes and the last Pampers box we used was 0-3 months (boy).
This means an EPIC pile of baby clothes.
What do you expect me to do Pampers?
I have discovered a supermarket own-brand baby wipe in a huge box but it’s not the same. They don’t stack quite the same.
Pampers. I love you. I am brand-loyal and have been with both of my children.
I realise you can’t change back to the boxes but, if you’ve got any empty ones in a warehouse anywhere and, you don’t know what to do with them, I’m your girl.
Yours,
A really (un) organised mother.
I feel your pain. I had to buy actual storage compartments! Hope Pampers read your pleas!
We had a loft full of pampers boxes between the girls, however now I am afraid it is Amazon boxes!!
