We’ve all got people we know who we find it hard to buy for. You know who, at Christmas, a card doesn’t seem enough but a jumper or perfume would be too much?
Well, I have the answer and it works, even if they live a long way away.
The lovely people at Baker Days sent me an amazing personalised cake to try.
That’s right. Free cake. As it’s December, I went for a vanilla sponge cake with a Christmas themed decoration but they do cakes suitable for any occasion-birthdays, valentines, new baby you can even have marriage proposals put onto the cake.
The best thing? They come through your post box.
I was so excited when the box arrived. Inside was a mini Christmas cracker, a little card for your own greeting and a beautiful tin with the cake inside.
I think it is such a good idea. It would really cheer someone up to get a cake. You could have your child’s face on for their birthday or use it as a get well soon gift.
A new mum would also appreciate something sweet for nigh-feed energy. I am so impressed with my cake.
It tasted good too.
You can find out more about Baker Days here. The cakes do come in different sizes and you can choose your own filling, They also do a gluten free and dairy free version so they really do think of everything.
What a fantastic idea.
*I was sent the cake for review purposed but all opinions are my own.
Cake is always the answer. I would be more than happy to get a cake in the post! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
