Christmas Jumper Day with Ella’s Kitchen and Save the Children

I’m sure, unless you have been hiding under a stone, you know that today is the annual Christmas jumper day in aid of Save the Children.

Boo has toddled off to school in hers with her donation as have thousands of other school children around the country.

This year, children’s food company, Ella’s kitchen has also teamed up with Save the Children and to celebrate, they have created their very own #EllasChristmasJumpers film which is now live on their YouTube Channel.

They have set a challenge to parents to make a video of their little ones in their Christmas jumpers and to upload the videos onto Facebook and/or Instagram, tagging @EllasKitchenUK with the hashtag #EllasChristmasJumpers.

Entrants will then be entered into a competition to win a hamper full of Ella’s Kitchen goodies.

I was also challenged to make a video of G in his Christmas jumper, getting all festive and having a little dance. Never usually one to shy away from a little dance, on this occasion, G must have been a bit shy. I honestly tried.

Do not fear though, if my video was this bad, it means you have more of a chance of winning. Upload your videos now.

As well as that, all sales of their now famous Jingle Belly Christmas Dinner pouches will see a whopping 30 pence go to Save the Children.

Specifically, all money will go to the Save the Children Families and Schools Together programme (FAST) which promotes the importance of family meal time and the positive ompact this can have on little ones’ development.

FAST aims to build stronger bonds between parents, schools and communities to make sure children get the support they need to fulfil their potential at school and in life.

Available at ASDA, Boots and Tescom the scrummy limited edition jingle belly Christmas Dinner is suitable from seven months and included turkey with all the trimmings-potatoes broccoli, parsnips, carrots, cranberries and even sprouts.

If you remember the last Ella’s Kitchen campaign we did, I for one am especially looking forward to Christmas Dinner this year to see if we can recreate ‘Sprout Face.’
