Parenting can be so rewarding. It can also be thankless. Sometimes you take what you can from any positives in a day so here are my Five Small Parenting Things You Can Count as a Win.
1.You open your baby’s nappy to find a poonami of epic proportions. The nappy is off. You glance at the wipes and there are only three left. You can’t leave the baby because he or she will put their hands in it. You manage to clean the bottom with the three wipes. Yay.
2.You get both children asleep around the same time. Feel free to do some kind of jig as you dance down the stairs.
3.You manage to get through a whole day, half day, morning, hour without shouting at one or both of them. Pass the gin.
4.Both children eat every single mouthful of whatever meal you place before them with no arguments, whining or anything thrown on the floor or across the room.
5.You manage to pull off all of the above in one day. Now that would deserve a celebration.
