#NaBloPoMo National Blog Posting Month

Last year I heard about National Novel Writing Month (#nanowrimo) which takes place every November. What a great idea. You basically commit to writing a 500000 rough draft novel in the eleventh month.

This year I have considered it. They say everyone has a novel in them and I felt like I’ve read enough to try and create my own.

I even worked it out. 500000 dived by 30 days is around 1600 words a day.

It was then that reality dawned on me. I am nearly seven months pregnant and I have a three-year-old. The only time I get to write is when she is in bed by which time I am usually wiped out.

Maybe not this year.

Then I heard about the next best thing (to me) #Nablopomo or, National Blog Posting Month where you write a post every day for the whole month of November so, on a whim I signed up and here is my first one.

I feel on the run up to Christmas there is certain to be something exciting to write about each day. If not, I apologise in advance for any boring posts which may come your way but here goes….
