My Boy is 10 Months Old
Another month has flashed by.
I did think I would be writing this saying still no more teeth but last night, as I tried to sooth his poor gums, I felt the jagged little edge of a tooth so hopefully, by the time I write the 11 month update we will have at least seven little teeth.
Baby G still crawls at an alarming pace and this month, he has begun pulling himself up. On everything. Sometimes he crawls so fast he loses his trousers. It is the cutest thing.
I have had to move the clothes maiden out of the living room. His favourite place is by his sister as she lies on the sofa watching TV.
He stands on his tippy toes trying to reach her ‘boys’ (Happyland) on the window sill.
He had his first sickness book which, poor thing, hit him hard but he is back on form now.
I took him to get weighed and he is now 23 pounds and 15 ounces and on the 95th centile. Oops. As they go off his birth weight, he has more or less gone off the scale and they told me to reduce his milk feeds by half.
I am not sure I can do that to him so I am introducing a morning and afternoon snack and dropping off a bottle.
Since the tummy bug, his sleeping has not been brilliant but he only wakes once or twice in the night so I can’t complain.
Both G and his sister play lovely together most of the time and he has just discovered her toy kitchen.
Due to him putting everything in his mouth though, some small things have had to be removed.
He shared in his sister’s first trip to the cinema and both children surprised me with their attention span in there.
We also bought Baby G one of those Fisher Price Bouncing Zebras.
I got it for £15 off a local selling site and it has been worth every penny.
This month has also seen me have to introduce another stair gate and lower his cot. He’s definitely a climber.
He babbles quite a lot and says ra-ra-ra, da-da-da and ma-ma-ma but I wouldn’t say they were proper words yet.
He has already moved onto thicker foods and quite easily polishes off a banana now that he has worked out how to hold it without one slipping out of his grasp.
G visited a soft-play centre for the first time and he really enjoyed it but I blame it for the bug so we are going to have to find another place for him to play with babies his own age.
He takes notice of the television when it is on now and laughs hysterically at Abadas on Cbeebies and likes Paw Patrol.
He was also introduced to YouTube tractor porn by daddy.
We are now looking forward to his first Christmas. What a magical time it will be for them both.
My boy is ten months old.
He’s such a gorgeous little boy, was lovely to meet him yesterday. We have one of his zebras too and it provided a lot of fun times for z!
Aw growing up so fast. he is about 6 weeks ahead of my little man so it is lovely to see what George is getting up to! love the fox clothes in the bottom picture (where are they from??!)
They are joules I had a naughty splurge but that was the first time he wore the socks and they frayed!! Not worth the £7 for joules socks oops. I know it goes too quick 🙁 xx
So Cute. I love the giggly, babbly, chubby stage. #maternitymonday
He’s so cute, the months are just flying by. Glad that he’s all better now, well enough to get into all his sisters bits and pieces now! #maternitymondays
