What to put in a Baby’s Christmas Stocking
I had a conversation recently with some other bloggers about ideas of what to put in a baby’s Christmas stocking.
It is Baby G’s first Christmas this year and while he won’t be aware of the stocking and its contents, his big sister will so, while I haven’t gone mad, he has got a little stocking.
So what do you put in there?
The problem with a baby’s first Christmas is the age range it can mean. A baby’s first Christmas can occur at one day or one year, depending on birthdays.
I have had two January babies so G will be almost 11 months come Christmas Day.
So, what will he get?
I’ve got a Christmas themed book-in my experience with Boo, you can’t go wrong with this touchy-feely range of books by Fiona Watt for Usborne. I choose the seasonal one-not the tractor one. I am saving that one for his birthday.
Then came the festive Disney toy. His sister gets Minnie, obviously and Mickey was sold out so Winnie the Pooh it was.
Lastly came the biggest recommendation from the other bloggers-a Sophie La Girafe.
The bloggers raved about it-how could I argue with that? I have seen it before but Boo wasn’t much of a chewer so I didn’t bother. Baby G is the biggest chewer going so I thought it was worth a go.
That is it really. While his big sister will get a bit of chocolate in hers, there was no point putting it in for G as he doesn’t eat chocolate yet. Maybe I’ll slip a rusk in there or something.
Did you do stockings when your babies were small? What did you put in them?
Fab ideas! xx
These are lovely stocking fillers.
I’ve gone a little crazy for Aria’s stocking this year, she is nine months old, will be ten months at Christmas. She has two main presents and a very full stocking!
I’ve actually just shared my stocking fillers too, feel free to have a nose 🙂
