Monochrome Polka Dot Nails

After my first foray into beauty blogging, I thought I would share my nails for today’s wedding.

Like most women, I choose my shoes and bag first and everything just had to fit around them. They are so gorgeous.

So I decided on monochrome nails to match and painted them all black (Number 7 Black Patent) except for each ring finger which are white (Barry M Gelly Hi Shine in Coconut).

I could have left them as they were then but, I don’t call myself Emma ‘I will never be minimalist’ Lander for nothing and, thanks to Barry M again, I added spots.

Even as far, far back (ok not that far) as uni, I was doing nail art. It may not be perfect but I like it and, with the help of these fabulous Barry M nail art pens in black and white, my nails match my accessories perfectly.

I would like to add, I only polka dotted my ring finger and thumb. Back in the day, all ten fingers (and probably toes) would have been polka dot but I don’t think I can pull that off any more.

As it is, I think they look fun but still stylish for a woman in her 20s 30s.

The pens were really easy to use and I finished off with the new Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing Topcoat.

*I was sent the Barry M Coconut nail polish ages ago for a review but Baby G got in the way of me and my makeup. All opinions and use of artistic licence are my own.
