My Picks for the Best Baby and Childrensware on the Farm this Winter
Living on a farm, we know more than most people about keeping babies and children warm in the winter months.
Babies especially can get really cold sat in a pram or pushchair but even Boo, running around gets cold so we need warm layers, thick waterproofs and good footwear. They have to look stylish too though so here are my picks for a stylish yet warm winter on the farm.
Hats. Baby G’s hat is a robot from Next and loads of people have commented on it.
For Boo, we went for a mouse bowler hat from M&S. I saw this last year but it sold out. As soon as I saw this then, I snapped it up. It really is the cutest hat ever.
For outerwear, Boo has this coat from Yumi which I reviewed separately. You can read that review here.
For G, I got him a navy duffle coat from M&S and then, for colder days, I got a snowsuit from my local second-hand baby group on Facebook. We all know how quickly kids grow out of clothes so I had no qualms about buying pre owned. I did know the girl I bought it off but everything washes.
Footwear is also important. Shoes and boots have to be warm, comfortable and waterproof. Peppa Pig has a lot to answer for with her jumping in muddy puddle antics.
I love these navy glittery Kids Ugg boots from Daniel Footwear.
Likewise these short wellies by Melissa are just adorable-practical but super stylish for any little princess, even a farm princess.
Now G isn’t walking yet and I don’t really agree with putting shoes on babies but, on the other hand, it’s always the extremities which get cold quickest and when I saw these little Ugg boots, I fell in love.
So there it is, my winter checklist for stylish yet warm children on the farm.
The next thing though is ensuring the hats stay on but that is another story.
