My pregnancy-week 35

I can’t decide if this week has gone fast or slow. At the moment, it seems the beginning of the week goes slow but Friday comes around very quickly.

Week 35 sees me continue to be tired and ready for the baby to be here but I have a few weeks left.

I had my weekly blood pressure monitoring and they traced the baby’s heart beat at the same time which was nice, if not frustrating because the little monkey wouldn’t stay still.

It was a nice opportunity to sit quietly and press a little button every time I felt the baby move. It must have moved 50 times in that hour.

My biggest new symptom this week is that I am permanently hungry. This is the first time I’ve been hungry this pregnancy and it is a shame after last week’s post when I discovered I had only put a stone on.

I will have to watch this new found hunger. As usual, last week, I probably spoke too soon.

The big news this week is I saw my consultant and I have a date for induction.
As long as my blood pressure doesn’t shoot up and the baby is happy, I will be going in on January 27th.

In an ideal world, the baby would arrive that day but realistically, unless the break my waters on arrival, it will probably be the 28th.

Having a date has made me feel better as the end is in sight and I have three more weekends to get Hubster whipped into shape and sort the house out for the new arrival.

Hopefully, I will see you next week.

  4. Aww wow well you really do not have long left! I say don’t worry about the hunger and if your body tells you to eat you should eat. You have done so well so far but this is babas big growth period so don’t feel too guilty for eating! Hugs xx #MaternityMondays
