#TinselTuesdays Number 4, December 2nd
We are finally in December and the Christmas or Advent festivities can begin in earnest. Is your tree up yet?
I’ve held off and may do it this weekend. I did put it up at the beginning of December when it was Boo’s first Christmas but, if I’m honest, I was sick of it come Christmas week so I am persevering this year.
That is not to say that I don’t feel incredibly Christmassy and I am enjoying, yes enjoying cleaning the house ready for the decorations.
Elf on the shelf has joined us this year as has the Advent calendars and, despite it being only December 2nd, I have used the ‘you have to be good for Father Christmas’ at least 73 times.
Last week’s #TinselTuesdays offerings were a lovely mix of crafts and recipes.
I particularly enjoyed Becoming at Stay at Home Mum’s Christmas crochet. It really made me wish I could do it.
Christmas pine cone crafts were a winner with Let Kids be Kids and Mummy M’s Memories were all about their elf on the shelf.
Hayley from Home was getting all festive with original hand made gifts, Time to be an Adult was clearing up ready for the decorations and Mama Frog Blog’s was cooking up a storm with Stir Up Sunday.
What have you been up to this week?
I can’t wait to hear all about it. This is a blog hop so do try and comment on as many of the other posts as possible and don’t forget to tweet me your entries (@EmmaLander2) so I can retweet them.
Happy #TinselTuesdays.
I’m getting excited about Christmas now! Our tree isn’t up yet but I think we’ll do it this weekend. We don’t do Elf on the Shelf but have Rosie the Reindeer visiting through December! Thanks for hosting 🙂
