Father’s Day Craft Ideas

In our house, Hubster and I don’t buy each other gifts for Mother’s and Father’s Day. Our children aren’t really old enough to want to buy us things so until they are old enough, we are happy to just get cards.

You can’t beat hand made things from children though. Boo made things for Mother’s Day for me at nursery but they don’t seem to do it for dads. Whether it’s a politically correct thing because some children’s fathers are not around, I’m not sure but there is a sincere lack of daddy crafts going on at the farm.

Don’t be under any illusions here. I only ‘helped’ because Baby G cannot hold a pencil yet. He needed some kind of representation in the crafting stakes and, what can I say, I selflessly stepped up.

We decided on a wooden Dad sign, a key ring and a little gift box.

Boo had a lovely time decorating her presents for Daddy. She is his number one fan.

Handmade gifts would make any daddy’s day this Father’s Day.
