Like Farmer’s Wife and Mummy Facebook Page for a Treat

It is a well-known thing that Facebook pages for blogs and other small organisations are notoriously hard to grow.

Something to do with algorithms. Something I don’t really understand but know exist because of my Facebook likes tally still being under 1000.

As it is New Year, I have set myself some little blogging goals which, although may be boring for you to read, are squirrelled away in a little notebook for my eyes only so that I can track them and look back in a year’s time and see if anything worked and what I achieved.

Why am I telling you this? I hear you ask.

Well, I am hoping some of you will be able to help.

My Facebook page is first on my list and I am hoping for more people to like it.

Where do you come in? Well, if you don’t already, please show some love and go and like it yourself and then ask all your friends to like it too.

Ok, maybe not all your friends. You don’t want to come across as weird (although I would be very grateful for any weirdness).

If everyone reading this asked just one person to like my page, and they did, my target would be met and there would be one very happy farmer’s wife and mummy blogger.

I am under no illusion though that no one wants to do anything for nothing so I have been thinking what I could offer you in return.

Unfortunately with being pregnant every year for the last eight years, my body isn’t worth much. I could offer you eggs but I don’t think I’d have enough to go round and even if I did, for those who aren’t local, they may break in transit.

No. I had to come up with something else. So here is my gift to you.

If my page reaches 1500 likes by Valentine’s Day-February 14th, I will do an exclusive gender reveal on my Facebook page.

That’s right. Fans of Farmer’s Wife and Mummy on Facebook will get to know before anyone else what flavour #farmbaby2017 is going to be.

I am also working on Facebook only content so you will feel extra special if you like my page including…..

Wait for it…..

Monthly videos of what we get up to both on and off the farm.

Just think-lambing is coming up so cute lamb videos (as well as finding out whether the baby is a pink or a blue) is surely reason enough to click that like button.

What are you waiting for?

  1. Aww I can’t help, I already like your page. But I’ve liked a few of your posts instead and tweeted it for you. Good luck with your goals! Facebook is an arse to grow.

  2. Looks like you’ve already broken the 1000 likes, and i’ve added mine too. My FB page is still at less than 100 🙁 I really struggle with it!
