Personalised Gifts With Love from Kent-Made

Since starting my blog, I like to think I have helped a few small businesses in their quest for success. Everyone has an idea and Chantel from Kent-Made has a good one.

She makes beautiful gifts and homewares by laser cutting and engraving wood.

Her website, has so many things to choose from that I was spoilt for choice.

From Christmas decorations, christening gifts and personalised homewares, there really is something for everyone and every occasion.

I opted for an engraved flag with our name and the name of our farm as I wanted it to hang in the kitchen.

I had asked if Chantel could do anything in the shape of a sheep but she said she had never done a sheep before so I told her not to worry ad the flag would be perfect.

Imagine my surprise then when days later, I got a lovely packaged parcel with the engraved flag and a sheep inside.

I was so pleased, I had tears in my eyes.

My farmer loves personalised things when they feature the farm name or our surname and even he said the items were fantastic.

Chantel has two young children and she thought up her business as a way to spend as much time with them as possible.

With the help of her husband, Kent-Made was born from their home with Chantel hoping she could grow into something full time once the children started school.

She says she has always had a passion for wood and the custom made gifts will last forever.

Like any new business, it is always a risk-especially as, in the beginning, there is no guaranteed income but Chantel says the flexible working environment to spend time with her children has been worth it.

There are bedroom signs, postcards, save the date cards and wooden flowers. The range of beautiful things to choose from is amazing and I know I am going to go back.

There is something so lovely about giving someone a personalised gift. With Mother’s Day, Easter and the end of the school year coming up, there is also no end of occasions to buy for.

The next time you need a special gift for someone, do check out Kent-Made, either via their website or go and give their Facebook page a like to keep up to date with all new products and offers.

*We were sent our personalised gifts for the purpose of this review but all opinions are my own.
