Siblings November 2017

It’s been funny old month. Usually they seem to fly by and it seems like 35 seconds since the last siblings post.

This month it feels like 35 months. I don’t know why.

We’ve had half term and Halloween which were lovely.

We went to an aquarium at the beginning of half term and met up with the two girls I lived with at uni. We have seven children between us and it was lovely.

We also went to a christening and I got a lovely photo of them all sat on the altar.

We visited our local garden centre to look at the Christmas displays and the three siblings had a great week playing together.

We are lucky, living where we do that we can put wooly hats and coats on and get out whatever the weather. They all thrive off a bit of fresh farm air and with a good few weeks of sleeplessness with the baby (still no teeth), fresh air helps the all sleep.

The baby sits up properly now so it makes playing with his siblings much easier.

The big two often argue over whose turn it is to have the baby which is lovely and the baby adores them both but reserves his best smiles for his big sister.

It melts my heart every day.

I had planned a trip to a pumpkin patch but it didn’t quite happen.

So a bought pumpkin and some hay on our own farm was the perfect photo opportunity for a seasonal snap.

I was so happy with the results. I smiled for a good few days after this.

This is my eleventh month of taking part in siblings and it really has filled me with joy seeing our family grow from four to five and watching their relationships grow and blossom.

We may not be perfect but we love each other and that, in my book, is all that matters.

  1. It’s funny how some months feel so much longer than others isn’t it? I love your seasonal photos with the pumpkins. So lovely that your little one is starting to sit up and is more able to be part of things with his older siblings 🙂 #siblingsproject
