Heavenly Tasty Organics-A Review
Heavenly Tasty Organics, like many great ideas, came about because a mother was weaning her children.
Shauna McCarney-Blair wanted to provide the best for her baby, so She tried to make all her own fresh organic baby food from scratch.
Spotting a gap in the market for tasty, nutritional snacks, Heavenly Tasty Organics have been available in Ireland for a while.
Do not fear though, they are now available in the UK too through Amazon and Ocado.
We were send a hamper of treats to try.
First up, Baby G selflessly gave himself up to the Coconut Squashies. He tried all three flavours-Pinapple, Apple and Banana, Mango Apple and Banana, and Strawberry Apple and Banana.
I did intend to have a taste of these myself but his little mouth kept opening so I had to just keep spooning them in. I think this is a definite thumbs up.
Next up were the Wafer Wisps. We tried both flavours-Pumpkin and Banana and Spinach, Apple and Kale.
He LOVED them. They melt in the mouth and come in handy packs of three-perfect to slip into your changing bag for when you are on the go.
Not wanting to miss out, big sister Boo also tried them and then, not wanting to be last to the party, I did too. They are truly delicious and a guilt-free snack for all the family. Also, with there being three in the pack, it is perfect for us (Daddy prefers ‘man snacks’ whatever they are).
Lastly, we tried Heavenly Hoops. They are from ten months so a bit too old for G who is eight months but Boo has really enjoyed the apple flavour and I have saved the other packed for when G can try them.
I will admit too, one day, I ran out of cereal for Boo and gave her Heavenly Hoops with milk and she really liked them as a breakfast.
Heavenly Organics contain no added sugar or salt and, with imgredients like kale and pumpkin, you really are getting super-foods into your children.
I did think the Pumpkin and Banana flavour wisps would be perfect as a Haloween snack too.
We really loved trying this range out and I have found a new-love for the word Wisp. Much, much, underused in my opinion.
*We were sent this hamper or the purpose of this review but all opinions are my own.
Sounds yum. Maybe one day they’ll make their way to Australia #maternitymondays
