Smiggle Stationery Haul-Summer 2017

The schools may have only just finished for summer but retailers are already looking ahead to back to school and some savvy parents (not me) may well have already bought school uniform for the next academic year.

When I was a child, the school uniform was the boring bit. It was the new pencil case, pens and accessories that really appealed to me and I think my daughter is no different to me in that respect.

We were first introduced to Smiggle last summer when we visited their Manchester Arndale store to experience their new season goodies.

This year we have been sampling some beautiful things at home.

We got:

A pack of six metallic pencils RRP £4.50 currently on offer for £3.
A Smiggle Besties pencil case RRP £15.50
A Smiggle Party Eraser Tub RRP £4.50
A Pocket Pals Mini Journal RRP £6

We did make a video. As ever, it didn’t turn out quite as slick as I planned but, you can see the lovely things we got anyway.

I defy anyone to visit a Smiggle store and come out feeling sad. It is an explosion of colour and texture for all the senses-even scent.

The great things about getting your back to school stationery now is that your children have six weeks to play with them and keep them occupied over summer.

Did you ever see Breakfast at Tiffany’s when Audrey Hepburn’s character says “nothing ever bad happens at Tiffany’s?”

I honestly think Smiggle is the children’s version.

I must admit though, a certain person’s mother does still have a penchant for all the pink, fluffy and scented so I never find it too hard to say yes to a trip.

*We were sent the items from Smiggle for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.
