Halloween Crafting with Baker Ross

With Halloween just around the corner, it can be quite difficult to find things for small children to do.

I wrote a piece a few years ago about me not being wholly comfortable with Halloween-probably stemming from my own childhood when my parents wouldn’t let me go trick or treating because of the begging aspect.

Last year there was a Halloween disco at Boo’s school which we went to and they both enjoyed but this year the time has been changed and it is a little late for my two so I’ve had to try and think of something else.

Thankfully, Baker Ross has a whole section of Halloween crafts for adults and children alike and the best bit?

I won’t have to worry about their teeth.

As part of our Baker Ross Blog Craft Club, we were sent a selection of spooky crafts to try out and, apart from a bit of an argument over stickers (Boo won that), the crafting session was a great success.

We coloured in little gift bags adorned with skulls.

Then we made foam Halloween picture frames.

To be fair G sabotaged this craft but, by far, the most successful activity came from the stickers.

In the pack, you got a selection of spooky-themed photos in black with white dots along with sticker dots in varying sizes and colours.

Boo loves stickers. They are her favourite craft and, even though I have to watch her like a hawk (she has a penchant for sticking them in places she shouldn’t), the overall craft experience was brilliant.

Baker Ross has loads of Halloween crafts. It would be a good idea to stock up on some to give out instead of sweets.

Likewise with half term coming up, a good inside activity is always a good thing to have up your sleeve.
